Low Cost Solution

The MemoryLink Strongbow Video Transport System provides a high quality, low latency, affordable solution for video compression and transport across the Canopy™ Wireless Broadband Platform from Motorola.

Designed for Wireless

Strongbow uses a patented, proprietary algorithm to encode and decode video, audio and related data streams in real time to deliver full color, high quality images.  Unlike standards-based video protocols, the MemoryLink system is optimized for  wireless transport.  It provides dynamically variable or constant bit rates up to 7-Mbps., with frame rates of 1 to 30 frames per second, with no visible loss of image quality.

Strongbow Gets Smarter Over Time

With MemoryLink's exclusive Malachi™ architecture, Strongbow's hardware becomes interactive, reprogrammable and reshapable - enabling scalability and greater dimensionality.  Strongbow defies competitive technologies that have built-in obsolescence and delivers a far greater value over silicon-based circuitry.

Easy Set-Up and Configuration

Strongbow accepts composite video or S-video, and stereo audio, encoding or decoding this data and streaming via full duplex Ethernet.  Control and set-up information is accomplished via an on-board web server that can be accessed remotely via a network connection, locally through the USB port or preset via hardware switches on the unit.

Encoder and decoder products are available as independent modules, or custom-configured as an integrated codec unit.  In addition, PC-based software is available for streaming, viewing, storing and playback on a Windows-based PC.
