| Remote-a-Phone |
The Remote-a-Phone™ provides a simple, low cost solution for
point-to-point transport of standard, uncompressed telephone traffic (POTS) across wireless Ethernet
devices including ISP-class radios such as Motorola Canopy, and on-premise WiFi® (802.11) systems. Unlike
VoIP solutions, the uncompressed nature of the Remote-a-Phone protocol preserves the original analog
signal, enabling it to be used for fax and modem transmissions, in addition to voice. Typical applications
include remote construction sites, guard shacks and temporary retail/point-of-sale set-ups.

Audio to Ethernet Converter |
The Audio to Ethernet Converter device accepts stereo or mono analog line-level audio,
converts it for transport across Ethernet radios and recreates the original analog audio stream at the
receiver. The product can be applied to enable inter-service radio communication among non-compatible
radios utilizing a wireless data link such as the Canopy™ Broadband platform to transmit between
dispersed communication centers eliminating leased landlines costs. Because the units can provide duplex
audio to carry tones, it can also be used to control remote radio transmitters and receivers across
Ethernet radio links. |
